After several problems trying to connect equipment to different Mercedes cars that had no AUX socket, we went about trying to find a solution. On some cars we can simply add a socket and on some we also need to program the radio to enable this connection. But on some of the newer cars this just isn’t an option so we needed to think outside of the box. With the help of one of our overseas suppliers we now have a very simple solution for when the car has a USB socket but no AUX socket.

This USB memory stick sized device simply plugs in to your existing USB socket. Its intelligent circuits within emulate a memory card so that the radio thinks a stick has been inserted and activates the USB port enabling any 3.5mm jack plug to connect to the car audio system.

This can be used for any audio input. For example: MP3 players, Mobile Phones, CD Walkman, etc.
