Recently, a specialist car tuning company that we have dealt with recommended a customer of theirs to us to look at an issue that was causing them concern. This particular C63 was being tuned and lightened for maximum performance. Part of this work involved removing the rear seats and the relevant seat belts. After doing this, the car was flashing up with warning messages on the dashboard because some of the systems were inoperative. Although these systems were no longer needed the car needed to be ‘told’ to stop looking for them.
This is where we come in! With our specialist software we were able to re-configure the relevant control modules so that the car no longer looked for the missing systems and in doing so, re-instate all of the other safety systems that are very much needed in a car with this level of performance.
